Blogging as validation

I'm reinstating the blog. I leave for DC on Saturday (!) and then I start work on Monday. It will be stressful, hectic, possibly frustrating at times, but I am excited. There is no reason not to be: I have a job, my application on my apartment is pending, and I'm 22 years old. Maybe I am reinstating the blog because I need to convince myself of these pros in a more formal setting, but nonetheless there you have it. Me, DC, and a life. Good deal.
